E3 one of the biggest video game expos is just a days away. It is a time when the video game companies come together to lay out their plans for the consumers delights. It is a time of big announcements and holiday plans. It is a time when video game fans get a sneek peak at all the biggest games and tech of the video game industry. So what can we expect out of three of the console holders this year. Well then lets get started.
SONY
It can probably be a sure thing that a good deal of their press conference is going to be on Playstation Move. With Move on its way E3 is going to be the perfect place to show it off. I'm sure well get all the details on when it comes out and how much it is going to cost. We even will get all the games that will support it.
Another likely candidate for showing up is inFamous 2. Recently revealed to be the cover story in the July Gameinformer. As a premiere title for Sony it will definitely get some lime light.
The PSP is definitely going to be talked about. As the sales of the PSP lag Sony must come up with something to help the handheld regain momentum in the market place. I also expect PSN too play a big part in the PSP's future from here on out.
Their has been some speculation on a 3D PS3 and upgrade some more PS2 games like they did with God of War 1&2.
MICROSOFT
As with Sony's Move Natal and it's games is going to be a big part of their conference. Microsoft is betting alot that Natal is going to help them pick up some of casual market. Not that they are forgetting their core consumers. Halo Reach, Gears of War 3, and Fable 3 are all going to be present at E3.
Lets not forget thier service Xbox Live. With rumors of Hulu coming to the service I doubt that the service isn't going to be forgotten. This is also the time when Microsoft likes to announce new content providers for the Market Place
NINTENDO
What can we say about them no one ever knows what they are going to bring to the show. Some good bets is the Nintendo 3DS is going to be a good size of their showing. Metroid Other M will be playable and we will learn some more about it. The Wii Vitality Sensor that they debuted at E3 last year may actually be shown off and how it will work with games.
Their have been rumors of a GoldenEye remake for the Wii and DS so this would be a great place for it.
Now for the biggest question mark for Nintendo. Will Zelda be at E3 or not. Some are hopeing for that they will not only debut a Zelda title but it would be out this year. Me personally I think the only we will see of Zelda is a trailer. Now for me thats all I need. We will see if Nintendo actually has anything for the core consumer they have been hit and miss these last couple of years.
