Today was the first day of the video game expo E3. As always it is a big event for the video game world and industry.Microsoft, EA, and Ubisoft all took to the stage to present their stuff. Here is the news and rumors that came out the first day press conferences.
MICROSOFT
Project Natal becomes Kinect and is launching with 15 titles on November 4. Gamestop has placed the price of Kinect at $149. Their will be a Xbox 360 slim that starts shipping today and will be in retail stores by the end of the week and will cost $299. As part of its press conference they announced that Netflix will be adding a search feature to its streaming program for xbox live. As with previous E3 presentations they took the time to announce new content for their Marketplace more specificly they have announced that ESPN will be streaming content over Xbox live for free for Gold members.

EA
While EA didn't have anything as big as Microsoft they have announced a "Gun Club" service that will span their shooting games. Basically rewarding players for playing the shooting games they already love. And they announced a live sports streaming service so you can watch other people play sports games. EA's Sports active is going multi plat to take advantage of Move and Kinect
Ubisoft
Basically a new Rabbids game for the Wii. A new Driver game and a 2d revivial of Rayman.
